Help with Need For Speed Undercover for PC?
I recently bought need for speed undercover for the PC. When i start the game it doesnt show the loading screen with the flashing lights all around, instead, it shows a blank white screen and when i press enter a few times, it makes the right sounds like it worked, but when it was loading the game (still with the blank white screen) it crashed and had an option to close the game or check for a solution online. checking for solutions didnt do anything (as usual). I want to find out how to fix it so i can play it before my new video card comes (ati radeon HD 4550)
my system specs are:
dell inspiron 530s (great computer, graphics are junk though)
Graphics: Intel GMA 3100. AKA Intel G33/G31 express chipset family
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core e2200 2.2 GHz (way faster than the old P4’s or Pentium D’s)
RAM: 3GB 667 MHz DDR2 Dual channel (kingston 4DIMM)
HDD: western digital caviar SE WD3200AAKS 320 GB with 16 MB Buffer @ 7200 RPM
OS: vista home prem 32 bit
Go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest and select the game from the dropdown. The site will analyze your computer and tell you whether you can play the game and, if not, why not. (I’m betting it’s your video card – that’s a business class card, not a game class card.)
(Oh – the site’s safe – I always use it to answer questions about which games need what.)
