The download speed of Lime Pro doesn’t seem much different to Lime wire Free version, Why?
Hi, I just got Limewire pro the other day and i have been downloading a few songs but they aren’t much faster (some of them are even slower) then when i download them on Limewire Free. Please tell me what is happening, do i have to do something, or do i have a bad connection.

The way Limewire works, is that you download pieces of a file slowly from several people at the same time. The speed is entirely based on the number of people with the file, their upload speed, and the number of people trying to get the file.
The difference between free and PRO, is that free limits the max number of people you can download from at one time. Pro has a much higher limit. One way to increase the speed is to lie and say you have a T1 connection, which with Pro gives you an even higher limit.
This just affects the MAXIMUM number of connections, if only a few people have the file, it will be slow regardless.
