Why do Hardees (Carl Jr.’s) commercials make men look like stupid Ogre’s who can’t cook?
Just like an Ogre will eat anything in large quantities that is how Hardees make men out to be. Evey commercial they have out now is some man standing in a kitchen looking loss or in the middle of mess that he has made while trying to cook himself a meal. They even go on to say, “If it weren’t for us some guys would starve.” And sadly its a man’s voice commentating over the commercial, putting down his own kind. Why is that and why is it that in the 21st century that kind of sexist advertisement is working to make others rich?
Will Rogers referred to advertisement as “the art of convincing people to spend money they don’t have for something they don’t need.”
I second that idea.
